The plan is explained and we start with Old Delhi.
09:30 AM Old Delhi: Red Fort and Jama Masjid
See the Red Fort, the red sandstone fort of the Mughal emperors (closed on Mondays).
Visit Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, and view the lanes of Chandni Chowk.
12:30 PM Lunch Break
Break for lunch at a restaurant of your choice (at your own cost).
01:30 PM New Delhi: India Gate and Government Area
Drive along Rajpath and stop for photos at India Gate.
See the outside of Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House and the secretariat buildings.
02:30 PM Humayun's Tomb
Visit Humayun's Tomb, the first garden tomb in India and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Your guide explains how it inspired later Mughal buildings such as the Taj Mahal.
04:00 PM Qutub Minar
Visit the Qutub Minar complex with its 73 metre tower, the iron pillar and the old ruins.
05:30 PM Lotus Temple and Drop
